Why are we different?
Not Profit Driven!
As partners, we have established businesses. We wanted to build homes as if we were building them for ourselves. If we wanted 2X6's framing, then that's what we would do. That means we know every nail, board, and brick that was used. We would want contractors held to higher standards vs what they could get by with. Would we want things changed instead of living with it! An example is we add fiberglass reinforcement to our concrete and upgrade to 3500 psi. Is it required; No, but we would want it!
Better building methods!
What's behind the walls matters to us! Everyone sees the cabinets, countertops, tile, but rarely see what is "behind the walls" and how they were built! You can have a beautiful steam shower, but if you don't use a product like Schluter ensures a 100% water seal, then it could leak. Most of these things will not add any value to the appraisal, but they matter to us (See Building Techniques).
Examples: During the build process we seal every single pin hole for insects (stinging scorpions), water, and air. Weather sealing has so many levels. A lot of builders use zip siding but don't take the additional steps to seal the baseplate (which is where most scorpions slip through). We also take measures to protect windows, doors, appliances, tubs, electrical boxes, etc. from damage during construction.
We are just going to do everything better!
Attention to detail!
Most builders focus on what sells and that is important; but it's the little things that separate quality.

Innovation!
We are into this! We are constantly looking new products, new ideas, and better ways to build a house! A lot of guys it's a job! We don't see it that way.
